The “Epidermis II” series explores the zentai community. The term refers to skin-tight suits covering the whole body, giving individuals a new "simplified" identity. The suits evoke a feeling of total confinement, offering a form of detachment from the outside world. Lybeer photographs individuals who express their identity through visual codes and masquerade, signalling their belonging to a subculture while distancing themselves from mainstream society.
