Abdulhaleem Awawdi (75 ans) possède sa ferme à la toute limite du village de Dair Debwan (Cisjordanie). La veille de notre visite, ces colons ont volé 1 035 moutons ainsi que quelques chevaux. Le lendemain, à notre arrivée à la ferme, nous voyons un berger avec son troupeau à moins de 100 mètres. En raison des trous dans la clôture, la famille palestinienne garde un œil vigilant sur le berger, craignant qu’il ne rassemble d’autres colons armés.

Abdulhaleem Awawdi (75) owns his farm on the very edge of the village of Dair Debwan (West Bank). The day before our visit, these settlers stole 1,035 sheep and a few horses. The next day, when we arrived at the farm, we saw a shepherd with his flock less than 100 metres away. Because of the holes in the fence, the Palestinian family keeps a watchful eye on the shepherd, fearing that he may be gathering other armed settlers.
